About NYCelectro

NYCelectro.net is a labor of love, and was built due to our passion for electronic dance music. We wanted to see our favorite local dance parties and music we like in one spot on the web.

We work with promoters, labels, PR, or the artists themselves when we post links to music. We never just post up tracks unless it's authorized or linked to another legitimate site. If we have resulted in an error of judgement, please contact us.

Even though the name is "NYCelectro," we enjoy all types of dance music so we'll post up anything that we think is a sick electronic track, not just exclusively electro. And yes, we know what the original electro back in the day sounds like versus what people call electro now. The term is very loosely used and the modern day definition is what we're going with.
